TRITON-TX6S is one of a family of tiny 68mm x 31mm SODIMM system-on-modules based on Freescale’s iMX6 processors, which are in turn part of the pin-compatible TRITON-TX module family. The TRITON-TX6S is based on Freescale’s i.MX6 Solo featuring a single-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at 800MHz, while the TRITON-TX6DL features the reduced specification i.MX6 Dual Lite processor with dual-core ARM Cortex-A9, and the TRITON-TX6Q uses the quad-core version of i.MX6.The TRITON-TX6s comes with 256MB or 512MB of RAM. Dedicated multimedia codecs handle video at up to 1080p. Dual capacitive and resistive touch screen displays are supported.
